About Snowy Owls
The Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus) is a large owl (53-65 cm long and a wingspan of 125-150 cm) with white feathers and yellow eyes. Its plumage and feathered feet allow the Snowy Owl to survive in the cold northern circumpolar region. However, as it is a nomadic bird and often forced to move location to find suitable prey, it can also be found in more southern regions. Snowy Owl calls are varied. They also make clicking noises in response to threats or annoyances.For more information check out the links given here.
